About Anna.
My name is Anna, and like many people who find their way into natural medicine, I discovered naturopathy through my own health struggles with eczema, low energy, anxiety, and gut issues. After years of seeing different GPs and specialists, I eventually found naturopathy and experienced first-hand the impact that simple changes to diet and lifestyle, alongside herbal medicine, could have on overall wellbeing.
As my practice evolved, I began seeing more and more clients who were trying to conceive, and very quickly fertility became an area of health that I couldn’t learn enough about. I was drawn not only to the constantly evolving science, but also to the tenderness and care needed to support people through such a deeply personal experience. That combination of evidence-based knowledge and soft, compassionate care felt very aligned with my own style of practice.
I then went through my own fertility struggles and gained first-hand experience of how all-consuming, heartbreaking, and isolating the journey to parenthood can sometimes feel. While there were many resources available once pregnancy occurred, I found there was very little support for the season of trying to conceive itself. That experience deepened my passion for creating more support, connection, and community within the fertility space and it is something I hope to continue building through both my work and future offerings.
One of the biggest things I learned during that time was how easy it is to become consumed by the tracking, appointments, supplements, and waiting involved in trying to conceive, and how important it is to still feel connected to yourself and your life along the way.
After a three-year journey, I eventually conceived my son and later found further gaps in the support available during pregnancy and postpartum. I loved my postpartum experience, which I believe was largely shaped by the intention and preparation I put into that season which is something I feel is not spoken about nearly enough. These transitional times in life require so much tenderness, nourishment, and care, and it is a privilege to support individuals and families through them.
